These are difficult days for the immigrant community. Trump is signing executive orders on immigration policy negatively affecting millions of people.
We have an updated list of Know Your Rights Presentations that will help to provide members of the immigrant community with information about their rights that can protect them at this time.
We also have upcoming Power of Attorney Workshops. These workshops are targeted to members of the immigrant community, and are spaces where people will be able to work with an attorney to complete a Power of Attorney form to designate someone to take care of their property or care for their children if, for some reason, they are unable to do so.
We are also urging non-immigrants to attend these meetings as a sign of solidarity during these potentially dividing times. We need to stand with each other now more than ever.
