Upcoming Know Your Rights Presentations

Donald Trump and his administration are now in office. The uncertainty of what is expected of this administration and the impact it will have on our families has caused fear in our communities. We urge you and your family to come and learn about the changes brought about by these executive orders and your rights that can offer you protection. We also urge non-immigrant members of the community to join us to stand in solidarity. We will all impacted by these executive orders and it is important to support one another against this injustice at this time.

Upcoming Citizenship Workshop
At this event, attendees who are permanent residents will be assisted in filling out an Application for Naturalization, i.e. an application for citizenship.  You do not need to be bilingual or an attorney to help with this event.  Volunteers will provide support in completing the applications, and all applications will be reviewed by immigration attorneys.

Upcoming events will be posted here!

Upcoming Power of Attorney Workshop

The M.I.C.A. Project is working with the Catholic Legal Assistance Ministry and Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates to host Power of Attorney workshops. These workshops are targeted to members of the immigrant community, and are spaces where people will be able to work with an attorney to complete a Power of Attorney form to designate someone to take care of their property or care for their children if, for some reason, they are unable to do so.

We expect a large number of Spanish-speaking clients, so we’re in need of volunteers to interpret for the attorneys at these events. For this situation, no prior legal interpretation experience is necessary.
Upcoming events will be posted here!
