St. Louis-based nonprofit hopes to raise $5,000 in one month
MICA Project has announced the kickoff of the ‘1 Month for 200 Lives’ campaign, running during the month of September. The community organization, committed to working with low-income immigrants to overcome barriers to justice, is launching the effort to coincide with MICA Project’s one-year anniversary on October 5th.
Co-founder, Nicole Cortes, commented on the ‘1 Month for 200 Lives’ campaign “During the month of September, we are seeking to raise $5,000 from supporters so that we can continue doing this work. We have an active caseload of over 80 clients, and each of those clients has a spouse, child, or parent who is relying on them. We are looking for donors to be a part of our next 200 success stories.”
