Welcome to The MICA Project!
No matter where you are from, we're glad you're our neighbor.
Help MICA Raise $25,000!
We began 2017 resolute in our commitment to recognize and promote the dignity of our clients. We proclaimed that we will not stand for a Muslim ban or a border wall. We stood with Dreamers and their families, convinced that the stroke of a pen cannot destroy the vision of these young people. We assured our immigrant neighbors that some children are raised to tear down walls, not build them up.
But guess what? We haven’t yet achieved our vision statement. There are still prototypes for a wall, legal challenges over bans, silent raids and unjust enforcement actions.
We need you to stand with us for the dignity of all people.
Right now, we have an amazing opportunity that will directly benefit our clientele. The MICA Project has received a $25,000 challenge matching grant. A generous anonymous donor has renewed an offer to match all donations received by the end of the year, up to $25,000!
This is our chance to prepare for the year to come. We don’t expect that it will be any easier. But we have seen the commitment of this community to stand together, to promote the dignity of all people. And we are ready to keep standing and working towards our vision. Thank you for standing with us.
